PMA gets out and about for National Wellness Month!

August is celebrated as National Wellness Month, a time dedicated to prioritising self-care and fostering sustainable healthy habits for physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Established in 2018, the month encourages a comprehensive approach to health and serves as a reminder to make wellness a priority.

The purpose of the month is to encourage self-care, stress management, and the development of healthy, sustainable habits for holistic well-being. It covers physical, mental, and emotional aspects of health, reminding people to prioritise their wellness before problems arise. Within the working industry, we all know it is easy to focus on the work you provide for others, rather than prioritising your own well-being.

To mark National Wellness Month the team at PMA took part in Energise 25! Each person created a goal to improve their own physical or mental wellbeing. As an office, we all value our well-being in work, but we also recognise the importance to follow this through to our personal lives. Some decided to read a book, complete a weekly sea swim, or explore the Devon costal walks and countryside. All of the activities varied, but all were a source of motivation to remember to take time outside of the working day to recharge and replenish. We can all happily say that we all completed our goals for PMA Energise 25 and have implemented some healthy habits for the future.

We finished the month with a group walk around Baggy Point and some delicious Moroccan food to celebrate our individual achievements for the month. We say goodbye to another lovely summer in North Devon.
