We were delighted to win a major commission in 2013 to design two new buildings for Petroc at their Barnstaple campus. The key part of the project was to address the engineering facilities at the Barnstaple campus and, provide a building that more suitably reflected the needs of staff, students and industry.
Petroc – Engineering Building
The new building was designed to relate to the existing automotive building so that an engineering ‘hub’ could be created on campus, where an efficient sharing of facilities and spaces could be created that benefitted all types of engineering student.
Our concept design was taken on after planning by LHC Architects who worked with ISG as part of the Design & Build contract for the project.
